Our CEO Seymur Mammadov has been awarded the prestigious title of EY Entrepreneur of The Year!

This recognition is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence and the bright future he is shaping for Simbrella. We couldn’t be prouder to have such an accomplished leader at the helm, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing things Simbrella will achieve with his innovative spirit driving us forward.

Seymur Mammadov is building connections for households without checking or savings accounts. Living without a bank account is not only a hindrance to everyday life but also stunts the financial growth of families and communities. Seymur Mammadov, Founder and CEO of Simbrella, wants to improve the quality of life for unbanked populations through access to financial instruments and microloans.

Hundreds of millions of people use Simbrella products every day to secure long-term funding and meet short-term financial needs. On a national level, Simbrella is working with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy on a portal that provides microenterprises with access to state support based on data such as tax history and assets held by government agencies.

The company has expanded its mission to communities around the globe. In Asia, Latin America, and Africa, Simbrella offers microloan access to up to 80% of its partners’ customers. The largest mobile operator in Nigeria, with 45 million subscribers, uses its services. The company is planning an aggressive expansion into the Far East and Indonesia, as well as further expansion across Africa.

In addition to providing advanced financial solutions, Simbrella offers Data as a Service (DaaS). Companies across advertising, banking, retail, and insurance use this data mining to create new and relevant products for their consumers. Seymur believes that this service can improve people’s lives in the most critical areas by enabling advances in medicine, transportation, and education.

"Appreciate every moment you spend at work or with loved ones, and try to find joy in everything you do." Seymur Mammadov
